Jokowi: Investors Fret about Political Conditions

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo said all foreign guests and investors he met had expressed concern about the escalating political tension in the country.
"But I always say there's no problem," he said on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
According to Jokowi, the row in the House of Representatives (DPR) is common political dynamics. Thus, he has asked all regional leaders not to worry about what is happening in Jakarta.
The political conditions at the DPR intensified after the pro-government coalition of parties formed a rival DPR as a result of their disappointment over the parliamentary domination by Prabowo's coalition.
In the rival DPR, Pramono Anung from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) is appointed as the speaker, while the deputy speakers comprise Abdul Kadir Karding from the National Awakening Party (PKB), Patrice Rio Capella from the NasDem Party, Syaifullah Tamliha from the United Development Party (PPP) and Dossy Iskandar Prasetyo from the People's Conscience (Hanura) Party.
