Indonesia’s Last LoI with IMF to Be Signed after Ied

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indonesian Minister of Finance Boediono told reporters after a Friday prayer session (21/11) at the Department of Finance, Jakarta, that the last Letter of Intent (LoI) with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be signed after Eid as the IMF still has to edit the legal review and wording. According to Boediono, the review of this LoI has been finished and will soon be signed by the Indonesian Government and the IMF. Two weeks after the signing, the IMF will bring the LoI to the IMF board meeting in Washington D.C, USA. “The last loan embezzlement from the IMF will be delivered after this meeting,” said Boediono. This last loan for Indonesia will be amount to US$450 million. Bagja Hidayat – Tempo News Room
