TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – President Joko Widodo will officially open one-stop integrated service (PTSP) in the fourth week of January.
“We are waiting for the presentation from the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM),” said Coordinating Economic Minister Sofyan Djalil on Monday.
Even though the BKPM already began the PTSP on January 15, it was only a trial. “The inauguration will still be by Mr. President,” said Sofyan.
Last week, 66 civil servants from several ministries moved to BKPM office in Jakarta. They came from 19 ministries/agencies as liaison officers (LO) to support the PTSP.
BKPM chief Franky Sibarani said LOs at the front office were tasked to provide services to apply for licenses and consultation for investors. Permit processing, he added, would be conducted by LOs at the back office.
Franky said the BKPM and ministries or agencies are already prepared to process end-to-end licensing for businesses in the electricity, industry, industrial region, tourism area and agriculture sectors. The central PTSP is also prepared to provide services for investment permits that are not related to end-to-end businesses issued by other ministries.
